Here at Poseiden Organization we encourage those who can, to help others, and we congratulate those efforts by shining light on the matter. Poseiden is grateful to team up with such an effective program that addresses the darker issues that adolescents are confronted with. P.A.S.S. Program (Promoting Achievement and Student Success), "is a school based gang prevention/intervention mentoring program" that ranges from individual to group mentoring, through a range of interactive activities.
Those at P.A.S.S. tackle day-to-day issues of struggling adolescents that aren't given the proper attention. With programs and workshops that target issues such as gang prevention and awareness, it keeps a generation of kids out of harm and instead instill hope and the dream of a brighter future. Dreams that they can construct by their own will and strength.
By getting to know individuals on a one-on-one basis, staff members can connect with the students on a deeper level and act as mentors. In turn students gain a sense of achievement and success as they harness the confidence and problem-solving skills that will help them adapt in the real world. P.A.S.S. Program help kids realize their unique talent and fully utilize it to build character and confidence within themselves.
This program goes on-site to schools and organizations spreading the word and not only educates the young but also the old and in between. From teachers to parents, and community-based agencies, no one is left out. P.A.S.S. truly cares about bridging the gap between all areas of the community. Education and awareness are the foundation of the program as it pushes young minds to soak up the knowledge to empower themselves from within so that they can utilize their minds as a powerful weapon as they develop into their own.
Trained staff members contribute their time and energy into tutoring, setting up community projects, and setting up special field trips in hopes of opening the young eyes and minds of to a bigger picture. A picture in which they know they can personally create themselves.
We will be bringing you more information about this exciting program and Poseiden's involvement in the near future so be on the look out!
